Shogun's Treasure Box Villa for Ultimate Fun & Zen
Play like a shogun in a forest hilltop villa in the ancient capital of samurais
Kamakura:
Kamakura carries a longstanding history and is an established brand for refining and marrying the modern and the traditional in craft, food, and lifestyle. Just an hour south of Tokyo, the natural fortress surrounded by three hills and the sea was once a de facto capital of Japan around the 13th century. Its historical sites, the calm and serene atmosphere, vibrant food and shopping scene attract Japanese and international visitors alike. Feel the spirit of samurais still alive in many Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, explore hip spots for fantastic cafés, restaurants and bars. And of course, hit the sea for marine sports and activities!
Your Residence:
The two-story villa and its grounds are full of fun and unusual treasures. When you arrive what you cannot miss is the wooden hanging bridge. It will awaken your inner child and egg you on to discover the epic rooftop with a huge slide, jacuzzi, and space to chill. Explore yourself the luxurious bbq terrace and the zen treehouse!
The entrance on the ground floor invites you to the spacious living and dining room. The high windows and a wooden ceiling fill it with natural light. Vintage furniture and modern art pieces make it an epic space.
The metallic open kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances (including a gas stove, oven/microwave, fridge/freezer, dishes, Nespresso machine, water kettle for coffee and tea). All of this you may enjoy from atop the giant hammock with the figurehead!
Big glass doors open up to the wooden deck facing south. You can soak up the sun and lounge around watching the panorama view upon the Shichirigahama city and Sagami Bay and the Pacific Ocean.
Adjacent to the main area, you find the generous corner room with a double bed and an L-counter by the window for meditative or productive moments.
The basement features a separate entrance, theater and media room, 3 bedrooms (master, double, single) and 3.5 bathrooms (small shower/WC, large jacuzzi tub, separate shower, separate WC). The theater and media room has a modern fireplace with stone mantle and a comfortable L-shape couch to explore the rich library of DVDs and CDs on the wide projection screen and sound system.
Location:
The treasure box villa is located on a quiet hilltop of Kamakurayama next to Shichirigahama. It is easily accessible by car or taxi (ca. 10 minutes) or bus (ca. 20 minutes) from Kamakura Station. Several cars can be parked on the private driveway.
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the ultimate fun and zen experience in Japan.
